Night Porter - Full Time (45 hours per week)

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

Salary: Up to £28,571.40 per year

Our property is a beautifully restored Victorian mansion nestled in the Berkshire countryside, surrounded by 60 acres of parkland and gardens, yet just minutes from Wokingham and Bracknell. Following a major refurbishment, we now offer 93 elegant bedrooms, a modern gym, and upgraded conference and event spaces.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter to join our team on a full-time basis. Working night shifts (typically between 10 PM - 7 AM or 12 AM - 9 AM), you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.

· Perform nightly audits and reconcile accounts (full training provided).

· Monitor and maintain security throughout the property, including regular patrols and locking external doors.

· Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs, including payment processing.

· Respond to guest queries, comments, or complaints, escalating where necessary.

· Support other departments as required during the night, including light cleaning of public areas to ensure readiness for the morning.

· Be familiar with fire safety procedures and operate the fire panel when needed.

Skills & Experience:

· Previous customer service experience (minimum 1 year required).

· Knowledge of Opera PMS systems is an advantage (training provided).
