📦 Job Specification: Parcel Sorter -Middleton

🔑 Key Responsibilities

* Unload, scan, sort, and load parcels (up to 23kg) to ensure smooth flow through the depot

* Organize parcels by destination for dispatch and delivery

* Load/unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse

* Perform basic quality checks on goods before dispatch

* Work closely with the team to meet daily targets and deadlines

* Physical fitness - ability to lift and move parcels repeatedly

* Attention to detail - ensuring parcels are scanned and sorted correctly

* Teamwork - ability to collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment

* Adaptability - flexible to work across different warehouse areas and shifts

* Reliability & punctuality - critical for meeting operational schedules

⏰ Working Hours

* 12am midnight until 8:30am 5 nights over 7

💰 Pay

* Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £15.01 per hour after 12 weeks
