Sous Chef - £35,000 - Lyndhurst

A great privately owned boutique hotel is looking for an experienced Sous Chef.

They pride themselves on making all the food in the kitchen, using locally sourced, freshly picked and seasonal produce so this is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef looking for a great challenge with plenty of growth and development.

Key Information:
* Salary: £35,000- £38,000 depedning on exp plus £4-5k service charge
* Hours: 5/7 Days, 45 hours per week maximum
* Location: Lyndhurst
* Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of the role include:
To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards
To keep all working areas clean and tidy
To supervise and motivate the team when required
To comply with hotel's health and safety and food safety legislations
To monitor portion control, fresh food, and dry store orders

In order to be successful, you'll need to have:
Experience working in a similar role / establishment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Passionate about food
Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
