Pay Rate: £17 per hourLocation: FaringdonContract Type: TemporaryWorking Hours:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Shift options: 07:30 - 16:00 or 08:30 - 17:30</li></ul><hr /><h4>About the Role</h4>We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Joiner to join our team in Faringdon. This is a temporary position requiring someone who can integrate quickly into a team and manage high workloads in a fast-paced environment.<hr /><h4>Key Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and timber components.</li><li>Installing doors, windows, staircases, and other joinery elements.</li><li>Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.</li><li>Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.</li><li>Ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.</li><li>Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.</li><li>Working collaboratively with other trades and team members.</li></ul><hr /><h4>Qualifications &amp; Experience</h4><ul><li>NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry &amp; Joinery (or equivalent).</li><li>City &amp; Guilds Carpentry &amp; Joinery certification.</li><li>Apprenticeship in Joinery (completed).</li><li>Proven experience in joinery work (minimum 3 years preferred).</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>CSCS card is NOT required for this role.</li></ul><hr /><h4>What We're Looking For</h4><ul><li>Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.</li><li>Ability to handle high workloads under time pressure.</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Commitment to health and safety standards.</li></ul><hr />Interested?
