Business Insight Manager
Location: Derby
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 37 per week

About the Role
As Business Insight Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop business intelligence and performance systems to deliver accurate, actionable insights.
- Manage statutory returns and ensure compliance with government and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee a large team of analysts and developers, providing leadership, guidance, and development.
- Work closely with senior managers across People Services, including Adults and Children's Social Care, SEND, and Inclusion, to support service improvement and planning.
- Drive evidence-based decision-making and champion data quality across the organisation.
What They Are Looking For
- Management experience in Local Government is essential.
- Proven experience in:
- Delivering statutory returns.
- Leading large teams and developing staff.
- Using BI tools and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
- Working within People Services (Adults and Children's Social Care, SEND, Inclusion).
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
Desirable
- Management qualification.
- Knowledge of data sharing agreements and performance frameworks.
