The Opportunity
They have an exciting opportunity for a Children's Residential Homes Manager to lead an EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home. This is a permanent role offering stability, development opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact on the lives of young people.
You'll manage a home for up to five young people aged 10-18 who, for various reasons, cannot live with their families. Your role will be to lead, inspire, and shape the future direction of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.

Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) and either hold or be working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
- Minimum 3 years' experience in residential childcare, ideally as a Registered Manager or experienced Deputy
- Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards 2015, and Ofsted requirements
- Experience managing challenging behaviour, attachment, and trauma
- Excellent communication and IT skills (including MS Office and care management systems)
- Ability to manage resources and priorities in a 24/7 operation
- Full UK manual driving licence and right to work in the UK
- Must be at least 18 and at least 4 years older than the oldest resident in the home
- Ability to work shifts, alternate weekends, and sleep-in duties when required
