<h3>Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)</h3>Location: LeedsBusiness Area: HealthcareSalary: £33,100 + 15% shift allowance (£4,965) = £38,065Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (6am to 6pm)<hr /><h4>About the Role</h4>We are looking for a skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a dynamic maintenance team at the Leeds Oncology Wing. You will play a key role in ensuring the hospital is maintained to the highest standards, delivering a responsive and customer-focused service.<hr /><h4>What You'll Do</h4><ul><li>Lead a small shift team of Maintenance Craftsmen and Assistants.</li><li>Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on building, mechanical, and electrical services.</li><li>Work on systems including:<ul><li>Heating and domestic water services</li><li>General electrical services (lighting &amp; power)</li><li>Air handling units</li><li>Low voltage electrical distribution</li><li>Emergency standby generators</li><li>Fire alarms &amp; emergency lighting</li><li>Electrical control systems &amp; BMS</li></ul></li><li>Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports.</li><li>Participate in a 24/7/365 rotating shift pattern.</li><li>Undertake training to act as Authorised Person when required.</li><li>Occasionally assist with minor installation and upgrade works.</li></ul><hr /><h4>What We're Looking For</h4><ul><li>Qualified time-served engineer with at least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.</li><li>Electrical bias with multi-skilled flexibility.</li><li>Healthcare experience desirable but not essential.</li><li>Cross-trade experience advantageous.</li></ul><hr /><h4>Benefits</h4><ul><li>Competitive salary with shift allowance.</li><li>Holidays, pension, and other great benefits.</li><li>Opportunities for training and development.</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
