School Caretaker

Caretaker (Enhanced Child DBS) - College Site, Bradford BD5

Location: College site, Bradford BD5

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm)

Pay: £13.00 per hour (PAYE)

Contract: Temporary - Immediate start until 4th February 2026

We are recruiting for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to support the facilities team at a college site in Bradford BD5. This is a great opportunity to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general site maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensure health and safety standards are met across the premises
• Manage site security including opening/closing procedures
• Support cleaning and upkeep of communal areas
• Assist with deliveries, room setups, and general site duties

Requirements:

• Enhanced Child DBS - must be current and valid
• Experience in a caretaker or facilities role (ideally in an educational setting)
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently
