Wood Machinist - Bespoke Joinery & Architectural Projects

📍 Location: Warrington

💷 £16.50 per hour paid weekly

🕒 8am-4pm Monday -Friday overtime available if required

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Wood Machinist to join a specialist joinery workshop renowned for producing bespoke architectural details and high-spec flooring. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to work on unique, design-led projects in a collaborative and quality-driven environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Create bespoke architectural joinery and machine flooring to the highest specification
• Set up and confidently operate saws, planers, spindle molders, and other woodworking machinery
• Use both hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Read and interpret CAD drawings to ensure precision and accuracy
• Design and manufacture custom items to meet client specifications
• Liaise with multiple departments to coordinate job requirements and resolve issues
• Conduct daily checks and routine maintenance on workshop machinery
• Arrange repairs and servicing of equipment when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Report any issues directly to the Workshop Manager

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Excellent joinery and carpentry skills, with a strong eye for detail
• Proven experience in a similar wood machining or bespoke joinery role
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong understanding of woodworking machinery and safety protocols
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to challenges
