We are looking For a Hygiene (Cleaning) Team Leader for our client in Portbury. The Client is a food production site. You will lead a team of Hygiene Operatives during cleaning activities to maintain the site to the level required by our customer base and to meet legal requirements, ensuring that the food safety, integrity, quality, legality, and authenticity of product is not compromised by the Team's activities.
Days of Work: Monday to Friday
Hours of Work: 08.00 - 16.00
Hourly Pay Rate: £16.27
Contract: Temp to Perm
Location: Portbury, Bristol
Transport: You will need your own car or motorbike due to the location of the client.
What you will be doing:
To lead the Hygiene Team as first line Hygiene Team Leader, to ensure the completion of hygiene schedules to ensure plant and environment are maintained to a high standard. To do this through the effective deployment of resources, forward planning and continuous improvement
Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and improved.
Responsible for the development and training of all the site hygiene activities with the Hygiene team to maximise their potential, flexibility and overall skill levels across the team
Responsible for ensuring effective communication with regards plant hygiene standards across and between shifts within the teams to ensure optimum performance is achieved.
To respond to audit reports, corrective action summaries to ensure work is carried out to an agreed timescale and manner.
Responsible for ensuring all work conforms to the processes and procedures of the 'Quality Management System' and 'Health and Safety Management System'.
Responsible for the supply of cleaning consumables within the factory and also manage all waste streams and waste segregation to ensure site meet the clients and government regulatory requirements for waste recycling and zero landfill objectives.
What you will need to apply:
1 Years minimum experience in a supervisory role
Own transport due to location
Fluent written & spoken English
