Relief Chefs Wanted Position: Relief Chefs (Various Levels)Location: Derby &amp; Derbyshire Rate: £16-£18 per hour👨‍🍳 About the Role:Are you a kitchen whiz who can hit the ground running? We're on the hunt for a relief chef who knows their way around a busy pass, doesn't panic under pressure, and can bring the flavour wherever they go.We are seeking skilled and reliable Relief Chefs to join our team on a flexible, temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in dynamic kitchen environments with supportive staff.We need someone who can jump in when our regular chefs take a well-earned break - could be a day, a week, or a full month, or even to support during peak periods to offer an extra pair of hands. You'll be the hero that saves the service!🔍 What We're Looking For:<ul><li>Strong culinary background - from Chef de partie to Head Chef</li><li>Proven experience in hotel kitchens, banqueting, or large-scale catering</li><li>Ability to step into different kitchens and hit the ground running</li><li>High standards of hygiene, presentation, and professionalism</li><li>Punctual, dependable, and calm under pressure</li></ul>· Someone who can be flexible be able to work day and night shifts dependant on when the clients need cover· Ability to cover ad hoc same day booking requests for our clients - which could lead to more ongoing work. · Great communication and teamwork skills· Ability to work under pressure ✅ Requirements<ul><li>Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)</li><li>Allergy Awareness training (preferred)</li><li>Own uniform and chef knives</li><li>Reliable transport (preferred but not essential)</li><li>Right to work in the UK</li></ul>· An in date Enhanced DBS DATED WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS ideally on the new updated service programme, this will allow you to work within Schools and Care homes.
