This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing nutritious, high-quality meals to residents in a warm and supportive environment.<h4>Role Overview:</h4>The Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations and manage a small team, including a Sous Chef and Kitchen Porter. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Preparing and cooking meals to meet dietary requirements</li><li>Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained</li><li>Coordinating kitchen staff and managing service times</li><li>Supporting menu planning and stock control</li></ul><h4>🕒 Working Hours:</h4><ul><li>Split shifts:<ul><li>7:00 am - 3:00 pm</li><li>1:00 pm - 6:00 pm</li></ul></li><li>Flexibility may be required depending on service needs</li></ul><h4>Candidate Requirements:</h4><ul><li>Proven experience in a professional kitchen</li><li>Strong leadership and organizational skills</li><li>Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (mandatory)</li><li>Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs in care settings (preferred)</li></ul>This is an immediate start position for the right candidate.
