Warehouse Operative - VNA & Bendi Licensed
Location: Heywood
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary:
- Night Shift (8:40pm - 6:30am): £15.77/hour
- Rotating AM/PM Shift (6am-2pm / 1:20pm-9:20pm): £14.48/hour
Are you an experienced warehouse operative with valid VNA and Bendi licenses? We're hiring for permanent roles in a dynamic warehouse environment where your skills will be valued and developed.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and distribute materials, equipment, and products.
- Transport items from receiving/production to storage or designated areas.
- Sort and place items on racks/shelves/bins by size, type, style, or product code.
- Assemble customer orders, package pallets, and complete relevant paperwork.
- Label incoming goods and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare outgoing products with correct labels and packaging.
- Operate SAP for stock checks, label creation, and consolidation.
- Safely operate warehouse vehicles and conduct daily equipment checks.
- Collaborate with supervisors and shipping clerks on schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) protocols and company standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid licenses for:
- VNA (Very Narrow Aisle)
- Bendi (Articulated Forklift / Pivot Steer)
- Counterbalance
- Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) - desirable
- Ability to lift up to 25kg and operate hand trucks.
- Comfortable working at heights (up to 8 meters).
- Willingness to work near mechanical equipment and in varying conditions.
