Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator with FLT experience to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly! Rate of Pay: £12.46phHours of work: Full time Monday to Friday: 07:30-15:30pmContract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks Purpose: To guarantee raw materials and parent reels unloading, storage and handling in compliance with work instructions and safety guideline Main Responsibilities:● Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork ● Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork ● Run quality check of all incoming goods ● Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay ● Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed ● Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation ● Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation ● Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies ● Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults ● Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions ● Carry out periodic stocktaking activities ● Guarantee the warehouse space optimization ● Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required ● Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams ● Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need ● To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift ● To ensure health &amp; safety rules are adhered to Skills required:● RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in house is accepted ● Experience in warehouse environment ● Good communication skills**Site run a no conviction policy If you feel you have the right experience for the above role, please submit your CV for immediate response.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
