Building Services Multiskilled Technician - Plumbing Lead

Location: Royston
Salary: £41,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
Enhanced DBS Check Required

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Air Conditioning Technician to join our facilities team at Royston. This role is ideal for someone experienced in HVAC systems, pipework maintenance, and air conditioning repair.

You'll be responsible for:

• Plumbing maintenance and fault repair: including water systems, valves, and pipework.
• Air conditioning servicing and diagnostics: working with split systems, chillers, and ventilation units.
• Performing reactive and planned maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Services (or equivalent).
• Recognised apprenticeship in plumbing or HVAC.
• Hands-on experience in air conditioning repair, HVAC maintenance, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Desirable:

• F-Gas certification
• Legionella awareness
• IPAF certification
