Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry, supplying catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef for their site in Salisbury. This company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress.

The successful candidate will work mainly Monday to Friday, with a mix of 6:00am-2:00pm or 11:00am-7:30pm shifts, and only 1 in 3 weekends, based on a 40-hour week.

💷 Salary: £12.61 per hour

🕒 Overtime: Paid at the standard hourly rate for hours worked over 40

🍽️ Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure food preparation and control meets required standards
• Support the manager in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within budget
• Maintain up-to-date product and menu knowledge
• Deliver high standards of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control
• Comply with health & safety and food safety legislation

✅ What You Need to Be Successful

• Previous experience as a Chef
• NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
