We are recruiting an experienced Chef to join a leading global contract catering company at their site near Amesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who values work-life balance and wants to be part of a supportive and professional team.

🔑 Key Details

• Hourly Rate: £12.61
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, either 5:30am-2:00pm or 9:30am-6:00pm
• Weekends: Only 1 in 4 weekends required
• Overtime: Paid at the standard hourly rate for hours worked over 40

🍽️ Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food to high standards, ensuring quality and portion control
• Support the kitchen manager with stock control and ordering within budget
• Maintain up-to-date product and menu knowledge
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment

✅ What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working as a Chef in a similar environment
• NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a high-volume setting
