This an exciting opportunity to join an Internationally recognised Manufacturer in the Nutritional Supplement Industry. Contract: PermanentSalary Basic: Line Setter 1: £26,748.72 / Line Setter 2: £28,703.88 pa (PLUS shift allowance)Hours of work: Full time, two shifts, Monday to Friday. Rotating between Mornings 6am - 2pm and Afternoons 2pm - 10pm. Role Summary: The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry. Must be target driven, have drive and ambition, and will be required to work within a Cleanroom environment achieving work standards that meet with GMP, 5s, Quality and Health and Safety Role Responsibilities: <ul><li>Set up/assemble production machines, including change overs.</li><li>Awareness of product quality requirements, highlight any concerns or issues, challenge product standards.</li><li>Understand the basic operational processes within your working area, highlight any Quality or Safety concerns.</li><li>Understand and adhere to Quality and Safety regulations through SOP i.e. HACCP, Pics, manual handling and general awareness of safety.</li><li>Be able to run/trained in a number of machines in the area (whole line equipment or 2/3 machines ZB/ZC</li><li>Checking process on the line, as per training.</li><li>Checking line clearance is in place</li><li>Cleaning parts of the machine &amp; area to standard required in a clean room &amp; SOP.</li><li>Following GMP as per training.</li><li>Following Cleaning &amp; Hygiene procedures as per training.</li><li>Be able to pre-form checks &amp; sign in to batch records.</li><li>Complete batch records/works orders &amp; if required fill in figures on plans.</li><li>Supporting staff development by coaching and guiding other team members, highlighting and training gaps within the team and covering for the Zone Leader in their absence.</li><li>Enforce best practice and compliance within the team, make suggestions to improve quality, safety and efficiency whilst highlighting any concerns.</li><li>Previous experience within a similar role is preferred. Our client is a global manufacturing leader in their industry and is offering great progression opportunities to grow with the company.Rate of pay: £16.81ph including 30% shift allowance. (overtime available at higher rates)Hours of work: Full time: 12 hour shifts 6.30-6.30 with a mixture of days and nights: 4 weekly rotating shifts: 2 Days on, 2 off, 3 nights on, 2 off , 2 Days on, 3 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 3 off and then this rotates and the pattern starts again. Hours work out at an average of 42 hours per week over a 4 week period. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for ensuring daily production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll oversee the blending, filling, and packing operations, ensuring compliance with health &amp; safety regulations and internal quality control procedures.
