Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced chef to work with our client on a temporary part time basis in the Ludlow area. Working in a busy farm shop cafe which can seat up to 175 guests, your main duties will include:* Assisting the head chef with kitchen management* Menu development* Cooking from fresh using seasonal ingredients* Maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene Hours of work:2-3 days per week8am-4pm Due to the nature of the business, some weekend work will be necessary. Previous experience in a fast paced environment is necessary Applicants must hold a food hygiene level 2 certificate or above dated within the last 3 years. School Cook / Chef - Birmingham Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-14:30pmPay: £15.00 per hourWeeks: Immediate start - Term time only As a Cook / Chef, you will be working in a school environment, assisting the Chef Manager in the running of the kitchen operations. As a team you will be responsible for providing meals to over 400 students. You will be responsible for the full operations providing meals to over 400 students. Blue Arrow is recruiting for experienced chefs to work with our clients around Birmingham and black country area. Working mainly in contract catering. Your role will be to:- Assist in the daily management of the kitchen team- Cook for up to 400 at a time- Cook from fresh following a set menu rota- Stock management and ordering- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure highest quality- Keeping detailed records of wastage, temperature checks, stock levels-Maintaining high standards of food and kitchen hygiene at all times.
