📍 Location: Havant
🕒 Hours: 33 hours per week (3 x 11-hour shifts)
💷 Pay: £13.50 per hour
🏡 Residents: 32
📅 Rota: Two-week rolling rota
👤 Role Type: Sole Cook on Shift
🧼 Kitchen Porter Support: 9am-3pm daily
📈 Overtime: Available to cover sickness and holidays

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Chef/Cook to join our friendly care home team in Havant. You'll be responsible for preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals for our 32 residents, catering to a variety of dietary needs and preferences.

🔄 Rota Pattern:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday
Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Shift Time: 7:30am - 6:30pm

🧑‍🍳 What You'll Be Doing:
Planning and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents
Managing the kitchen independently during your shift
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
Working alongside a Kitchen Porter (9am-3pm)
Supporting with stock control and ordering
Providing a warm and welcoming dining experience

✅ What We're Looking For:
Experience in a similar role (care home or catering environment preferred)
Confidence working solo in a busy kitchen
Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens
Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
A caring and reliable attitude
