HGV Class 1 Drivers - Days & Nights
Location: Barrow upon Soar , Leicestershire, LE12 8BG
Employer: XPO Logistics (on behalf of British Gypsum)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm - Ongoing, Pre-Booked Shifts

Pay & Hours
- Day Rate: £15.63 per hour
- Night Rate: £16.63 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday only
- Day Start Times: Between 04:00 - 06:00
- Night Start Times: Between 16:00 - 18:00
- Rates will increase after 13 weeks
Role Overview
Day Drivers:
- General haulage to builders' merchants and customer sites
- Load includes building materials such as plasterboard (heavy products)
- Minimum 3 months experience required
Night Drivers:
- Depot-to-depot trunking (no handballing)
- UK-wide coverage
- Open to newly qualified drivers
Fleet & Training:
- Modern vehicles equipped with telematics
- HIAB & CPC upskilling opportunities available
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK Class C+E (HGV Class 1) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Relevant experience based on shift type
