FLT Counterbalance Driver - Days

Blue Arrow are looking for Counterbalance FLT Drivers for a company located in Glossop

Working for a large manufacturing company.

Candidates must have a valid Counterbalance licence.

🏗️ Core Responsibilities
* Operating the Forklift: Safely maneuvering the counterbalance forklift to lift, move, and stack goods.
* Loading and Unloading: Handling deliveries by loading and unloading materials from vehicles and trailers.
* Transporting Goods: Moving stock to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
* Line Feeding: Supplying production lines with necessary materials and removing finished goods.
* Stock Control: Assisting with inventory management by organizing and counting stock.

🛠️ Maintenance and Safety
* Pre-Use Inspections: Conducting daily safety checks on the forklift and reporting any faults.
* Adhering to Safety Protocols: Following health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
* Housekeeping: Keeping work areas clean and organized to prevent accidents.

📦 Additional Tasks
* Packing and Wrapping: Assisting with packaging goods for dispatch.
* Documentation: Completing relevant paperwork for goods movement and inventory.
* Team Support: Helping colleagues with manual tasks when needed.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4pm

Pay rate: £12.47 per hour

Ongoing work that may lead to permanent for the right candidate.
