Our client based in Trafford Park are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with experience working within a food manufacturing environment. Main Purpose of Job: Conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures Main Tasks of Job: 1) Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements2) Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures3) Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures4) Plan and Schedule repairs on site5) Liaise with external contractors to complete additional requirements on site6) Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies7) Communicate with production regarding downtime8) Complete the required documentation9) Member of the HACCP team10) Maintain clean and safe working environment for yourself and other employees11) Work within a team and on his own12) Adhere to Personal hygiene rules outlined by company13) Follow operating procedures relevant for tasks carried out14) Complying with Company hygiene procedures and schedules ensuring the workstation is maintained in hygienic conditions; operate clean as you go policy all the time15) Follow Health and Safety requirements all the time16) Utilizes continuous improvement techniques and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes17) Carry out any other reasonable task as directed by supervisor/manager The shift pattern will be 5 days over 7. The salary will be £38,000 per annum.
