Operations Assembler - Cheshunt

We are recruiting for a Operations Assembler for our well established client based in Cheshunt EN8.

Job Hours:

Monday - Friday

8:30am - 5pm

Pay Rate:

£14.10ph

Contract:

Temp ongoing - full-time hours

Purpose

Working from general procedures and instructions, the Operations Assembler will execute transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Responsible for performing department processes and safely operating equipment to complete duties and performs skilled technical tasks related to Data Center Infrastructure equipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing (specialized) department processes and infrastructure equipment to complete duties. The Operations Assembler performs one or more of the below activities:

● May include one of the following: maintenance, upgrades, repairs, decomm, install and removing parts, scanning, counting products or other duties.

● Must work strictly according to personal targets/ results and quality standards.

● Ensure a safe work environment by following safety regulations.

● Participate in the Lean management system on the floor.

● Read and follow detailed and defined instructions.

● Report direct task-related problems in straightforward situations.

● Consciously deals with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water and fuel consumption.

● Handling data bearing devices (ex. Hard drives, solid state drives, etc.).

● Decommissioning of existing hardware

● Movement of equipment using pallet jacks or other assisted lifting equipment.

● Decoms/Racks Moves, Upgrades, and Data Security at the Data Center.

● Ensure a safe working environment and perform maintenance in a safe manner.

● Execute all Logistic functions of receiving Server inventory from carriers,
