Pcn Appeals Officer required!
Salary: £13.47 per hour
Location: Bristol
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Till June 2026 (will possibility of extension)



Job Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated person to join Bristol City Council a diverse and ambitious organisation. The role is specifically for the Clean Air Zone PCN Appeals Team.

What you'll be doing:
This is a challenging and varied role, and you will be working as part of a team providing customer service for the Clean Air Zone scheme. Your primary role will be responding to appeals relating to the Clean Air Zone as well as processing correspondence related to enforcement of PCNs. Additionally, you will log incoming appeals, vehicle keeper details and provide advice to our call centre. You will be using various Microsoft programs and bespoke systems; therefore, basic computer literacy is essential.

What we're looking for:
* An eye for detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with a good level of English (both written and spoken).
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team, to work without direct supervision and be self-reliant

This role will be office based initially with the option for hybrid working once trained.

Process appeals within statutory deadlines.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Data entry
- Maintain and update electronic records.
- Provide advice to call handlers.
