<h2><strong>Warehouse Operative</strong></h2><p><strong>Location:</strong> Theale, Berkshire<br /> <strong>Hours:</strong> Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm<br /> <strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time, Permanent<br /> <strong>Driving Licence:</strong> Highly desirable (Full UK, minimum 3 years)</p><hr /><h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3><p>We're recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and supportive team working within a community equipment service. This is a varied role that involves stock handling, equipment preparation, and occasional support with deliveries and collections. You'll play a key part in ensuring vital equipment is ready and available to support vulnerable individuals across the region.</p><hr /><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Process and close down collection orders from the previous day</li><li>Scan and store recycled stock in the warehouse racking system</li><li>Label products with part numbers and serial numbers</li><li>Receive and log stock deliveries via purchase orders</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised service centre</li><li>Log special stock orders and communicate with the call centre</li><li>Pick and label stock for outgoing orders</li><li>Carry out basic equipment repairs when required</li><li>Perform decontamination of equipment in line with MHRA guidelines</li><li>Complete all paperwork accurately and in line with procedures</li><li>Communicate any issues to supervisors</li><li>Assist with rolling and annual stock checks</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></h3><p><strong>Skills &amp; Attributes:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Previous warehouse experience (preferred)</li><li>Decontamination experience (beneficial)</li><li>Enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible approach to work</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working within ISO9002 procedures (advantageous)</li><li>Understanding of community equipment services or public sector (advantageous)</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>GCSE-level education or equivalent (preferred)</li><li>Full UK driving licence (highly desirable to support technician duties)</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>What We Offer</strong></h3><ul><li>A supportive working environment with structured processes</li><li>A role that contributes directly to improving lives in the community</li><li>Opportunities to learn and grow within a values-driven organisation</li><li>Training provided for specialist procedures and equipment</li><li>Regular weekday hours with no weekend shifts</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Apply Today</strong></h3><p>If you're ready to take on a practical and rewarding role in a service that makes a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
