<hr />👨‍🍳 School Chef - Canterbury | £15-£18/hour | School Hours | Immediate StartWe're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic School Chef to join a vibrant school kitchen in Canterbury, starting as soon as possible and working through to Christmas. If you're passionate about preparing nutritious meals and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!📍 Location: Canterbury 💷 Pay: £15-£18 per hour (depending on experience) 🕒 Hours: School hours, Monday to Friday (term-time only) 📅 Contract: Temporary - ASAP start until Christmas 📄 DBS Check: Required (must be current or willing to obtain)<h3>Key responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Preparing and cooking meals for students and staff</li><li>Managing food safety and hygiene standards</li><li>Supporting menu planning and stock control</li><li>Leading kitchen operations and working alongside catering assistants</li><li>Ensuring dietary requirements are met</li></ul><h3>What we're looking for:</h3><ul><li>Previous experience as a chef, ideally in an educational or similar setting</li><li>Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above preferred)</li><li>A valid DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a check</li><li>Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude</li></ul><h3>What we offer:</h3><ul><li>Competitive hourly rate</li><li>Supportive working environment</li><li>Consistent daytime hours</li><li>Opportunity to make a real impact in a school community</li></ul><hr />Ready to get started?
