We're currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team in a Care home in Preston. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic food preparation and service
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy periods
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
Stock rotation and waste management

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS Certificate - must be current and valid
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (preferred but not essential)
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
