Catering Assistant

Are you passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced, friendly environment? We're looking for reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to join our team, supporting primary and secondary schools across Carlisle and Cumbria.
Whether you're looking for ongoing work or ad-hoc shifts, we have opportunities to suit your schedule.

What you'll be doing:
* Preparing and serving meals to pupils and staff
* Assisting with kitchen duties including cleaning and food prep
* Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are met
* Working as part of a supportive catering team

What we're looking for:
* Previous catering experience (school or similar environment preferred)
* A genuine interest in working with children and young people
* A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* A positive attitude and team spirit

The details:
* Shift times: Typically 10:00am starts, lasting 4-6 hours
* Locations: Various schools across Carlisle and Cumbria
* Pay: From £12.31 to £13.00 per hour, paid weekly
* Type: Both ongoing and ad-hoc shifts available
