Packing & Shipping Administrator
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £27,000 TO £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 40 hours per week, flexible start times (before 8:30 AM), early finish at 3:00 PM on Fridays
Overview
We are recruiting for a Packing & Shipping Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced logistics team based in High Wycombe. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of picking, packing, and shipping goods across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and internal standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in warehouse operations, international shipping, and logistics administration, looking to develop their career in a supportive and well-structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail
- Organising shipments in line with customer and company requirements
- Booking shipments using UPS WorldEase, FedEx, and DHL systems
- Preparing import/export documentation in compliance with EU and international customs regulations
- Posting shipping data daily using SAP
- Providing freight quotes and shipping updates to the administration team
- Monitoring and managing packaging material stock levels
- Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts and hand trucks
- Handling dangerous goods (e.g. lithium batteries, liquids) - training provided
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Proficient in using UPS, FedEx, and DHL booking systems
- Computer literate; SAP experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of dangerous goods regulations (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and prioritise a changing workload
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy parcels regularly
