An Italian Restaurant is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie or highly skilled Commis Chef. An exciting job opportunity has arisen within a small Village for an artistic Chef de Partie/Commis Chef to join the kitchen team in a popular Italian Restaurant. Interested in: A passionate chef who is enthusiastic about creating dishes using locally sourced ingredients, keen to have a responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.   The chosen candidate will carry out a variety of duties whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the department to enhance productivity and service, help to manage spend and contribute to producing a significant profit. As Chef de Partie you will work on all sections and be involved with menu planning and development along with the senior chefs. About the role and responsibilities: Lifting, loading and unloading heavy equipment and transporting it throughout the warehouse Adhere to health and safety procedures Working along a production line in a fast paced environment, picking and packing General duties around the warehouse Shift patterns are 6:00am - 14:00pm or 14:00pm - 22:00pm This is a full time position, although part time positions may be considered.
