Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator (amazon Dept) to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!Rate of pay: £14.05ph inc 15% shift allowanceHours of work: 6am-6pm shifts: 12 hour day shifts on a 2 week rotating shift pattern (averages out at 42 hours per week)Shift Pattern:Week 1 Days Days Off Off Days Days DaysWeek 2 Off Off Days Days Off Off OffContract: Temp to perm after 12 weeksMain Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operating within the warehouse</li><li>Picking packing and scanning customer goods</li><li>Getting products ready for dispatch</li><li>Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment</li><li>Check load is safe and secure</li><li>Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies</li><li>Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams</li><li>Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need</li><li>To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift</li><li>To ensure health &amp; safety rules are adhered to</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Experience using handheld scanners preferred</li><li>Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment</li><li>Experience using ride on powered pump trucks preferred but not essential</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Works well in a team and individually</li></ul> DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.If you feel you have the right experience for the above role, please submit your CV for immediate response.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
