Our client is a global manufacturing leader in their industry and is offering great progression opportunities to grow with the company. Rate of pay: £16.81ph including 30% shift allowance. (overtime available at higher rates) Hours of work: Full time: 12 hour shifts 6.30-6.30 with a mixture of days and nights: 4 weekly rotating shifts: 2 Days on, 2 off, 3 nights on, 2 off , 2 Days on, 3 off, 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 3 off and then this rotates and the pattern starts again. Hours work out at an average of 42 hours per week over a 4 week period. Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks providing candidate meets performance and job spec criteria below. Purpose of the role: To guarantee the right operation of the packaging machinery in compliance with the working instructions and the safety guidelines. Main Responsibilities: <ul><li>To run the packaging machine</li><li>To run the roll pack bundler machine</li><li>To change the polyethylene reels and their optional materials or feed the machine with skillets or cases</li><li>To run the log saw if required</li><li>To stop and restart the machineries when needed</li><li>To check the compliance between the product and the related data sheet</li><li>To draft the data sheet regarding the production control</li><li>Small maintenance activities and adjustments</li><li>To manage the machinery change over</li><li>To support the colleagues in case of need and overview the end line process when required</li><li>To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift</li><li>To ensure health &amp; safety rules are adhered to</li></ul> We are looking for motivated &amp; committed individuals that are keen to progress their career within a manufacturing environment. This an exciting opportunity to join an Internationally recognised Manufacturer in the Nutritional Supplement Industry. Contract: Permanent Salary Basic: Line Setter 1: £26,748.72 / Line Setter 2: £28,703.88 pa (PLUS shift allowance) Hours of work: Full time, two shifts, Monday to Friday. Rotating between Mornings 6am - 2pm and Afternoons 2pm - 10pm. Role Summary: The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry. Must be target driven, have drive and ambition, and will be required to work within a Cleanroom environment achieving work standards that meet with GMP, 5s, Quality and Health and Safety Role Responsibilities: Set up/assemble production machines, including change overs. Awareness of product quality requirements, highlight any concerns or issues, challenge product standards. Understand the basic operational processes within your working area, highlight any Quality or Safety concerns. Understand and adhere to Quality and Safety regulations through SOP i.e. HACCP, Pics, manual handling and general awareness of safety. Be able to run/trained in a number of machines in the area (whole line equipment or 2/3 machines ZB/ZC Checking process on the line, as per training. Checking line clearance is in place. Cleaning parts of the machine &amp; area to standard required in a clean room &amp; SOP. Following GMP as per training. Following Cleaning &amp; Hygiene procedures as per training. Be able to pre-form checks &amp; sign in to batch records. Complete batch records/works orders &amp; if required fill in figures on plans. Supporting staff development by coaching and guiding other team members, highlighting and training gaps within the team and covering for the Zone Leader in their absence. Enforce best practice and compliance within the team, make suggestions to improve quality, safety and efficiency whilst highlighting any concerns. Contract: Permanent Salary: £31,471 pa Including Shift Allowance (Extra SA for nights if required) Holiday Allowance: 33 days per annum (25+8) Hours of work: Full time, two shifts, Monday to Friday.
