Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate School Chef to join our team. As School Chef, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking healthy and appealing meals for school clients. You will manage the kitchen, ensuring it meets the highest standards of hygiene and safety, and oversee all aspects of food preparation and service.

Responsibilities:
* Plan and create nutritious and balanced menus that meet dietary requirements and preferences.
* Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, ensuring quality and taste.
* Manage kitchen operations, including food ordering, stock control, and waste management.
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective teamwork.
* Monitor and manage the kitchen budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a school or similar environment.
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Excellent culinary skills and creativity.
* Strong organisational and management abilities.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
