🍽️ Job Opportunity: School Cooks - Portree Primary & High School

Location: Portree, Isle of Skye Contract: Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed Term

Positions Available:

1 Cook - Portree Primary School
3 Cooks - Portree High School

Are you passionate about preparing nutritious meals for young people? Do you thrive in a busy kitchen environment and want to make a real difference in your community? We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and skilled cooks to join our school catering teams in Portree.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve balanced meals in line with school dietary guidelines

Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety

Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and school personnel

Manage stock and assist with ordering supplies

🔹 Requirements:

Valid PVG Certificate (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) or be happy to be put through the PVG process.

Previous experience in a catering or cooking role preferred

Ability to work full-time for a 12-month period

Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
