DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS required (can be arranged if not already held)

We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Kitchen Assistant to join a welcoming school catering team in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of children by helping to provide nutritious meals in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Duties:
Assist with the preparation and serving of school meals
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Support the cook with deliveries, stock rotation, and food hygiene procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
Person Specification:
Experience in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
Good communication and time management skills
Ability to work in a busy environment and follow instructions
Enhanced DBS check is mandatory (support available for application if needed)
