School Kitchen Assistant - Northampton

Are you passionate about supporting children's wellbeing through nutritious meals? We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly school catering team in Northampton.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and utensils
Support the cook with stock rotation and deliveries
Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (preferred but not essential)
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Enhanced DBS check is essential (can be arranged if not already held)
