Job summary The Catering team are looking for a dynamic New Head Chef to lead the team to excellence . We are expanding our team to meet the needs of our Patients ,staff and Visitors in our on site fresh cook production kitchen. We are looking for someone with a passion for food ,knowledge of the latest trends in food and a drive to push the team forward as we look to deliver on the day ordering and cooking The candidate will need to be Organized, have flexibility due to operational issues and be prepared to excite and educate the team. Main duties of the job To work within a team producing a high standard of food production for the patient, staff and visitors of the Trust, which meets with all current Hygiene and Health &amp; Safety legislation. To provide a high quality catering service in line with standards, objectives and policy of the catering department for the patients, staff and visitors Ensure food production adheres to hygiene, health, and safety legislation. Supervise the catering team, ensuring they work efficiently to produce nutritious and well-presented meals. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and service, ensuring compliance with patient meal plans and dietary guidelines. Contribute to menu planning and service enhancement, incorporating seasonal, dietary, and nutritional requirements. Monitor stock levels, orders, and inventory management, ensuring cost control and minimal waste. Assist in the automation of catering processes, integrating technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in food service operations. Head Chef - Orpington

This job contributes to Retail &amp; Events Department by assisting a team of partners (employees) to create and maintain the Retail &amp; Events experience for our customers and all partners. The Chef De Partie assist in the running the operation of the kitchen &amp; Hospitality, ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality, actively assisting to manage the financial performance, and helping to manage safety and security within the department. Main duties of the job Ensure food and beverage costs are within Trust budget and to ensure the maximum overall. Responsible for controlling, analysing and ensuring the optimum performance, on an ongoing basis for, a) Quality levels of production and presentation, b) Customer satisfaction, c) Operating, payroll and food costs, d) Cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in all kitchen areas. Responsible for the production, preparation and presentation of all food items to ensure highest quality at all times. Required to participate in all of the tasks performed by the retail &amp; events kitchen team as necessary in accordance with the requirements of the kitchen. Assist in the daily operation of the kitchens, ensuring guests and staff is catered for to the appropriate standard and in keeping with our food policy.
