Catering Manager - Academy School, Durham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-14:00
Contract: Term Time Only
Salary: £15,700 per annum
Location: Durham

Are you passionate about food and creating a positive dining experience for young people? We are seeking a proactive and experienced catering manager to lead our school kitchen team and deliver high-quality meals in a friendly, efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily running of the school kitchen
* Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals in line with school food standards
* Manage stock, orders, and kitchen budgets
* Lead and motivate a small catering team
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations

What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a catering or kitchen management role
* A food hygiene qualification (Level 2 or above)
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* A passion for providing healthy meals to children and young people
