Spray Painter - Full Time
📍 Location: Blackwood
💰 Salary: £28,000 + Weekly Shift Allowance
💵 Total Earnings: £32,303 per annum

Shifts Monday to Friday , afternoons every 3rd week
Bluearrow is currently recruiting for a full-time Spray Painter on behalf of our well-established client based in the Blackwood area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in aircraft spraying or automotive accident repair, particularly where extensive surface preparation and high-class finishes are required.

Key Responsibilities:

Spray paint components using HVLP and air-assisted systems
Carry out SMART repairs and cosmetic blow-ins
Sand and refinish exterior body panels and interiors to OEM specifications
Mix paints according to TDS and application requirements (e.g., 2K, basecoat, topcoat)
Calculate mix ratios for sealants, fillers, and paints
Apply primer, topcoat, and sprayed coatings to aircraft parts
Perform straight masking and minor filling operations
Prepare surfaces prior to paint application (rubbing down, sanding, etc.)


What We're Looking For:

Experience in aircraft spraying or automotive accident repair
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to support Continuous Improvement initiatives
Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required
Understanding of scope of work documentation and parts control
Commitment to airworthiness standards and accurate documentation
