<p>We are currently recruiting for a reliable, proactive, and skilled <strong>School Caretaker</strong> to help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Redcar<br /><strong>Hours:</strong> Mon-Fri, 37.5hrs pw<br /><strong>Contract Type:</strong> Temp to perm<br /><strong>Rate: </strong>£13.85ph</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Ensure the school premises are clean, secure, and well-maintained.</li><li>Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.</li><li>Support with setting up rooms for school events and activities.</li><li>Monitor heating, lighting, and alarm systems.</li><li>Liaise with contractors and report any major issues to management.</li><li>Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.</li></ul><h3><strong>Requirements:</strong></h3><ul><li>Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.</li><li>Good practical skills and a hands-on approach.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.</li><li><strong>Enhanced DBS check is essential</strong> (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).</li></ul><h3> </h3><p>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.</p>
