Business Analyst
Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Contract: Temporary until March 2026
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Working Pattern: Hybrid (50% office-based)

A local authority in Newton Abbot is seeking a Business Analyst to support a major transformation programme focused on improving service delivery and driving digital innovation. This career-grade role (Grades 21-24) offers development opportunities based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead business process reengineering and service reviews
- Deliver phased deployment of M365 Power Apps and digital platforms
- Conduct stakeholder workshops, feasibility studies, and benefits assessments
- Provide data-driven recommendations and support change initiatives
- Mentor colleagues across business analysis and transformation teams

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Experience with M365, Power Automate, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to challenge existing processes and lead change
- Technically literate with high-level IT proficiency
- Willingness to complete a Business Analysis Diploma (BCS/ISEB/Apprenticeship Level 4)

Desirable:

- Experience with Firmstep/Engage and Power BI
- Use of industry-standard management tools
- Evidence of benefits realisation from process redesigns
