Job Title: Waste Collector
Location: NE4, Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £25,584 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Role Overview:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join a dedicated waste collection team operating across the Newcastle area. This is a physically demanding role that plays a vital part in maintaining clean and safe communities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate as part of a crew collecting household and trade waste
- Ensure waste is collected efficiently and safely in line with service standards
- Work flexibly across various routes and locations
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
- Carry out duties in all weather conditions

Requirements:

- Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Previous experience in waste collection or manual outdoor work is desirable but not essential
