An Italian Restaurant is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie or highly skilled Commis Chef.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen within a small Village for an artistic Chef de Partie/Commis Chef to join the kitchen team in a popular Italian Restaurant.

Interested in:
A passionate chef who is enthusiastic about creating dishes using locally sourced ingredients, keen to have a responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.

The chosen candidate will carry out a variety of duties whilst striving to continuously improve the operational effectiveness of the department to enhance productivity and service, help to manage spend and contribute to producing a significant profit. As Chef de Partie you will work on all sections and be involved with menu planning and development along with the senior chefs. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are developed and maintained along with your colleagues. 

Experience in a similar level role is desirable however not essential as training will be provided to high potential candidates.

Willingness and the ability to work well within a team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen 
A working knowledge of food safety and accountability 
A knowledge and understanding of Allergens.  
A high standard of food preparation and presentation

Commitment and reliability 
Creativity and passion when it comes to food 
Excellent presentation skills 
Attention to detail 

Availability:
2 permanent, full-time positions available, offering 45 hours per week over 5 days in a department that operates 7 days a week.

Full flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and evenings is essential to meet the commercial needs of the business.
