Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health &amp; Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance health and safety practices across our warehouse operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, promoting a culture of safety, and supporting operational teams across two key sites in Oldham and Wigan.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Act as the primary point of contact for all health and safety matters</li><li>Deliver training and inductions for new and existing employees</li><li>Lead and support investigations into accidents and incidents</li><li>Maintain accurate records, compliance registers, and corrective action logs</li><li>Conduct scheduled risk assessments, inspections, and audits</li><li>Coordinate safety initiatives across departments and locations</li><li>Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and facilities teams</li><li>Support external audits and accreditation processes (e.g. ISO45001)</li><li>Manage routine safety systems including PPE stock checks and permit-to-work procedures</li><li>Standardise documentation and reporting across sites</li></ul>Candidate Profile<ul><li>NEBOSH certification is essential</li><li>Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation (LOLER, PUWER, COSHH, Fire Regulations, etc.)</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams</li><li>Organised, proactive, and confident in challenging unsafe behaviours and driving improvements</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and training</li><li>A collaborative working environment across multiple locations</li><li>Exposure to dynamic and fast-paced warehouse operations</li></ul>Interested?
