Job Title: Bid Writer - Trusts, Foundations, Commissions &amp; Tenders Location: Edinburgh Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week) Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 per annum Overview: Blue Arrow Recruitment is seeking a creative and strategic Bid Writer to join a dynamic fundraising team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual with a strong track record in securing funding through compelling proposals and bids. Key Responsibilities: * Develop fundable and fully costed proposals in collaboration with internal teams * Identify and research funding opportunities aligned with organisational goals * Maintain a pipeline of statutory contract opportunities across Scotland and England * Lead the preparation and submission of competitive bids and grant applications * Coordinate reporting requirements and track progress with delivery and finance teams * Ensure ethical fundraising practices in line with the Code of Fundraising Practice * Contribute to strategic fundraising planning and performance monitoring * Write engaging case studies and impact stories to support fundraising efforts Person Specification: Essential: * Minimum 3 years' experience in bid writing with successful outcomes * Strong understanding of the funding landscape in Scotland and England * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team * Strong organisational and time management skills Desirable: * Experience working with funders and commissioners in both Scotland and South England * Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Benefits: * 32 days annual leave including public holidays * Occupational pension scheme with 6% employer contribution * Employee Assistance Programme * Cycle to Work and IT Voucher schemesBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
