Job Description
We are recruiting experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV Drivers for a well-established pharmaceutical logistics contract based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a long-term opportunity offering structured shift patterns, modern fleet vehicles, and no handballing or multi-drop.

Key Responsibilities
* Trunking only: Transporting pharmaceutical products between warehouse and depot locations across the UK
* No manual handling: All loads are pre-packed and managed by warehouse teams
* Route coverage: UK-wide, with structured route planning and telematics support
* Vehicle checks: Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
* Compliance: Adhering to driving regulations, tachograph rules, and company procedures
* Communication: Liaising with transport teams to ensure timely deliveries and updates
* Safety: Operating vehicles safely and professionally, with full training provided

Pay Rates
* Days: £16.90/hour
* Nights: £17.90/hour
* Saturday: £22.20/hour
* Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.96/hour
* Peak Bonus: Up to £1.00/hour extra (Aug-Dec 2025)

* £0.50/hour - Monthly Service Bonus (performance & compliance)
* £1.00/hour - Attendance Bonus (paid in Jan 2026)

Shift Patterns- start times
* PM: 13:00 - 17:00
* Nights: 22:00 - 02:00
* Minimum 3 shifts per week
* Pre-booked shifts for consistent planning
* Part-time options available
* Minimum 10-hour shifts

Requirements
* Full UK Class C+E Licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* New passes welcome - full support and training provided
