DBS School Cleaner

Morning Cleaners required to work at a college in the West Birmingham area. This role is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate. Main duties include:<ul><li>Mopping, vacuuming and sweeping</li><li>Cleaning washrooms</li><li>Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, canteens and any communal spaces</li><li>Emptying bins and litter picking</li><li>General dusting - including desks, furniture, chairs and ledges</li><li>Wiping and sanitising work surfaces and touch points</li><li>Restocking amenities</li><li>Report any maintenance issues to the cleaning supervisor</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to work Monday to Friday, on an ongoing basis</li><li>Has experience cleaning and with COSSH</li><li>Holds an ENHANCED Child DBS in date within the last 12 months, or an ENHANCED DBS on the update service.</li></ul> Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-8am - 10 hours a week Pay: £12.21 per hour Immediate start! Hospital domestic cleaner in Birmingham! As a hospital domestic cleaner you would be required to:<ul><li>clean all communal areas/wards</li><li>clean patient rooms</li><li>clean toilets</li><li>restock amenities</li><li>ensure that equipment is used and stored in the appropriate manner </li><li>ensure that cleaning materials are used correctly to the manufactures recommendations and stored appropriately.</li><li>mopping and sweeping</li><li>vacuuming </li><li>dusting</li><li>ability to work well as a team member and/or without direct supervision</li><li>good timekeeper and ability to organise task completion in a timely manner.</li></ul> REQUIREMENTS: <ul><li>Must have ENHANCED ADULT AND CHILD DBS</li><li>Must be able to provide full employment history from school leaving date</li><li>Must be able to provide full employment reference history</li><li>Must have experience in cleaning</li><li>Previous experience in hospital cleaning is preferable</li><li>Must complete training courses which are required for role </li></ul>Shifts we have available: Shifts are based on a 4-week rotational pattern. Week 1: Wednesday to Friday 4pm - 9pm. Week 2: Monday to Wednesday 4pm - 9pm. Saturday and Sunday 7:30am - 1pm. Week 3:Monday to Friday 4pm - 9pm. Monday to Tuesday 4pm -9pm. Thursday to Friday 4pm - 9pm. Saturday and Sunday 7:30am - 1pm.
