HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers - Afternoon shifts
Location: Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Contract Types: Full-Time | Part-Time | Weekends | Fixed Rota

Blue Arrow is hiring experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support our client's peak season from August to January. This is a great opportunity to secure regular, well-paid work with a structured rota and excellent working conditions.

Pay Rates (PAYE):

* Day Shifts (Mon-Fri, 06:00-18:00 / Fri until 13:59): £16.90/hour
* Night Shifts (Mon-Fri, 18:00-05:59): £17.80/hour
* Weekend Shifts (Fri 14:00 - Sun 23:59): £22.20/hour
* Overtime: £24.60 (Days) | £25.96 (Nights)
* Bank Holidays: £24.60 (Days) | £ 25.96 (Nights)
* Seasonal Retention Bonus: Earn extra in January for all hours worked during peak!

Shift Patterns:
* PM Shifts: Monday to Friday, start times between 14:00 - 18:00
* PM Shifts: Sunday to Saturday, start times between 14:00 - 18:00
* All shifts are pre-planned and confirmed at least one week in advance.

Start Dates:
Driver assessments and inductions will be booked within 24 hours, with work starting immediately and continuing until end of December 2025.
Ongoing local work may be available beyond the seasonal period.

Your Role:
You'll be responsible for trunking deliveries across the East Midlands and nearby areas.
No heavy lifting required - just occasional cage movements using a tail lift.
Clean, well-organised operation with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Requirements:
* Valid LGV1 (C+E) licence (New passes Welcome)
* Up-to-date Digi Tacho and CPC
* Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN codes)
