Location: Various schools across Northampton
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (typically 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Pay Rate: £14.00-£17.00 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable School Chefs to join our agency team, working across a range of primary and secondary schools in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for chefs who enjoy working in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment and want flexible hours that fit around family or other commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook nutritious meals in line with school menus and dietary requirements.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and school teams.
Manage stock, portion control, and allergen awareness.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Requirements
Previous experience as a chef in a school, care home, or similar setting.
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check - or willingness to obtain one.
Ability to work independently and adapt to different school environments.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
